The Maui Golf and Sports Park is popular not only with mini golf enthusiasts, but also kids.In addition to two, 18-hole tropical mini golf courses, the Maui Golf and Sports Park also features a small lagoon with bumper boats that shoot water, an “extreme” trampoline, and a climbing wall.
I’d often recommend to parents that they pick a day to spend in Maalaea Village. They could start at the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium around 9am before the crowds, then grab an early lunch at either Buzz’s Wharf or Maalaea Grill (personally I’m not a fan of restaurants that rely on a captive audience, like Seascape Restaurant at the Aquarium, or the snack bar at the Maui Golf and Sports Park. After lunch they can make their way over to the “Volcano” across the parking lot. That’s where they’ll find the Golf and Sports Park.
On weekends the Sports Park is often frequented by local birthday parties so it’s best to plan this for a weekday!
