Pacific Whale Foundation’s Ocean Discovery Camp are designed for for students entering grades 6-12. Campers enjoy a variety of activities that support the weekly theme including ocean sports, field trips, arts and crafts, hands-on science investigations and labs, guest speakers and more. Each weekly theme is different so activities vary throughout the summer to provide a varied camp experience for repeat campers.
Programs are based in PWFs air-conditioned, harbor-side classrooms in central Maui within walking distance to the Maui Ocean Center, Haycraft Beach Park and Ma’alaea Harbor. Ocean sports and environmental service field trips take campers to other locations on Maui each week.
Camps are scheduled during the typical school Winter, Spring and Summer break periods.
